The Honest Kitchen You'll notice we say human grade a lot. It’s an important distinction that sets us apart from the rest of the pet food pack. We were the first pet food company to earn FDA approval for human grade. click here for more

As avid dog lovers, David (my husband) and I wanted to launch a site that catered to just dogs (we love cats too, but David is super allergic), only carried fun, high quality, hip and stylish items, and was clean, crisp and easy to navigate. Click for more... |

| Cead Mile Failte (a hundred thousand welcomes) to San Diego’s favourite Irish Pub. Located on Adams Ave, in the heart of one of the cities oldest neighbourhoods, Normal Heights. The Ould Sod has the authentic feel of a local pub that you would find anywhere in the Emerald Isle. The bar itself is actually the third oldest licensed establishment in San Diego, first opening its doors to patrons away back in 1940 as "Ryan’s bar". In 1943 it became the "Elbow Club" and so it remained for 46 years, then on New Years Eve 1989 it was transformed into "The Ould Sod" by current proprietors Tommy Quinn, Ron Stout and Mick Ward. The stereotype of a bar is a place where people just go to drink, but a quick glance at what the Ould Sod is all about for almost 20 years certainly paints a much different picture. The LCAL Thrift Store has been open since September 2012, and effective January 2016, we have a new store manager, Sharon Evans! Sharon has been gradually implementing her “vision” and making so many wonderful changes to the store layout, merchandising, etc. Stop in and say hello, and be sure to check back as we continue to add more and more improvements to the store! All proceeds go directly to caring for the animals of Last Chance at Life All-Breed Rescue. Help a homeless animal become a loving pet by shopping, donating or volunteering your time at our thrift store. We offer tax-deductible receipts and a relaxed atmosphere. |
